Why we built Stocked
Stocked began on a guys’ ski trip in Colorado. After a long flight and a winding drive into the mountains, Broc and six friends made the same mistake countless travelers do: they stopped at the grocery store with no plan. Everyone split up. Everyone grabbed the basics. And everyone came back with the exact same things—chips and beer.
What was supposed to be the first day of vacation turned into hours of hunting down real groceries across multiple stores—some with food, others only with beer—none with everything they actually needed.
A year later, the same thing happened again. That déjà vu moment lit a spark. When Broc returned home, he called his old college roommate Zach, who had his own version of the problem: grocery shopping with kids after a full day of travel.
Together, they imagined a simpler way: a fridge filled before arrival, vacation days spent vacationing—not running errands. Out of those conversations, Stocked was born.
Today, Stocked helps guests reclaim their time while supporting the people who make destinations feel local—neighborhood grocers and hardworking property managers.

Broc keeps Stocked moving—literally. As CEO and our very first delivery driver, he’s just as comfortable pitching partners as he is hauling grocery bags. Off the clock, you’ll find him on a basketball court, on a golf course, or trying (and often failing) to convince a friend to take their boat out so he can wakesurf.

Stocked was born in Michigan, where vacation towns, lake houses, and weekend getaways are part of the culture. We launched here, learned here, and built our partnerships with the same local markets we grew up shopping at.
